I have never seen Apple release updates this late in the day.

I have a couple times (once on a friday after I got home from work, and I live in CA). Wish I could remember what they were now... I cant recall what software it was...

Nope, its been on the site for a few days now,the link to it has become more apparent though, appearing on the us startpage in the last couple of hrs
