Apple TV - "TV" app release date & Netflix

Any news/rumors on the international release date in regard of the TV app?

Also, Amazon will be implimented in the TV app. Any news/rumors in regard of netflix?
 
Same amount of time as it took to announce Apple Pay for Sweden.. won’t see News or TV for years.
 
My guess is amazon do not want to contribute to the hype if Apple are releasing a new Apple TV.
Instead releasing it in a few months so as to not damage their own competitor.

I find it wierd that Netflix would not want to be a part of the TV app. Maybe there will be a new annoucment @ the sept event. Anyway, I really hope the TV app will be released and that i will not be a News app only limited to the US.

I also cant understand why they would not open it up for all other countries.

Legal or contract reasons, maybe?

Or maybe Amazon has higher priorities, such as integrating Whole Foods' information systems with their own, or integrating Whole Foods into their Prime Now app? There are only so many software engineers to go around, believe it or not.

Maybe or maybe my guess was better than yours. After all their are only so many engineers to go around, believe it or not.

honestly i don't get why they restricted that one. I mean sure your content might blow for a bit as apps update etc but why not have it there so that it can be something you grow into.

course its not really that useful I think at the moment. not every app works with it and there's little added benefit over just going to the individual apps (which it basically does anyway). now if they had metadata for like all shows and you could favorite stuff and be alerted if it comes up for streaming that might make the app worth it.
 
Just watched the keynote. TV-app coming to Norway later this year. amazing news!

Also, amazon is joining the tv-app. It also seemed like Netflix was?

Is there a link where one can see what services that have joined?
