Apple TV, latest version: Has anyone else noticed that the new updated Up Next screen is a mess of advertising and other so called related movies/TV series. It is often difficult to locate your Up Next views and the mess of other promotions makes it a nightmare. And if you click on a movie/TV series it insists on playing sound etc. which is a pain. Frankly I want a clean easy to navigate Up Next screen that allows me to easily see what I have been watching and new episode that is available. At the moment it is confusing mess of promotions (which usually are irrelevant ) and previews of things I could not care less about. Looks like it was designed by a juvenile on drugs.

Agreed. I really, really dislike the re-design of the TV app. I warned Apple about this during the beta period.
I agree and wish Apple would revert back to the old up next screen. Also to note on the Mac the appleTV app slows down the mac and so I leave it closed until needed. It's a big mess.
You can shut off autoplay in Settings>Accessibility>Motion>Auto-Play Previews-off.
As I mentioned in my thread, I did that - trailers still autoplay. Tried restart, some problem

Regardless of how many threads are created discussing the subject (and there are a few)... I havent yet seen anoyone with anything positive to say about it.
Im certain that Apple already have this message loud and clear... and I know that they must have expected backlash when implementing the change as its so detrimental to the user experience.
To me, "up next" is the USP of the AppleTV and for me its front and centre of my Apple TV experience. To relegate it down the screen with autoplaying ads before it is highly annoying. I see no problem with those 'ads' but they should be BELOW the up next, and not above it.
However...
A bit of advice.... make sure that the AppleTV app is on your top shelf.... and then the up next list appears nice and prominently above without having to go into the TV app at all and theres no clutter (with the correct settings of course)
