Apple TV update to 4.2.2 makes it worthless

The latest update to 4.2.2 made my apple tv worthless.
I can no longer stream video from iTunes. When it looks like it's going to work, it shows an image and never buffers or starts.

Netflix app also incredibly slow and laggy and freezes to point where it's unwatchable.

Hope they fix it soon 🙁

yes it's been out for a while.. but i just updated. Haven't turned it on in a while. It used to work flawlessly, and worked right before the update... 🙁

I hate to say it but I think its just you. For most people, myself included the latest ATV update fixed a ton of stuff.

Occasionally, the aTV needs to be rebooted. The most direct way way to do this is to cut and restore power, but you can usually accomplish this by holding the "menu" and "down" buttons on the remote until the light blinks rapidly.

This usually fixes any hanging problems that people have.
