Alright, I've searched for a good 5+ hours, but nothing i've found has seemed to help me solve this problem. So my Apple TV cannot wirelessly communicate with my laptop, which is the main "sync" computer. However it can wirelessly stream music from my other laptop, which is WIRED to my router. I can access my Macbook through Apple TV only when it is hardwired into the network. If this makes it a little clearer: 1) Windows laptop - hardwired into router currently streams music to Apple TV perfectly fine 2) Macbook - NOT wired into the router, uses wireless network instead, CANNOT communicate with my Apple TV. 3) BUT my Macbook will communicate with the Apple TV only when it is WIRED into the router...basically defeating the purpose of my wireless network. The only thing that I can think would be causing this problem is either a Multicast issue, or something that's above me right now...I'm very tech savvy, however networking is my downfall...Any help would be great.
