I enjoyed See, more than The Morning Show. Ted Lasso is also great and For All Mankind was great as well. I'm curios which of them will be back with season 2 this year, as this virus seems to have messed up filming...

The first good show. Then I saw Defending Jacob. And then I saw Ted Lasso. This time next year Apple will have more hit shows than Disney, Hulu and Prime.
Watch Little America if you haven’t already

Only people in the industry.

Which translates directly into bigger talent taking roles in this sort of content. The Emmy's legitimize Apple TV+ in the industry, which leads to more big name actors/accesses taking risks on this sort of content.

Fantastic drama. He was also my favorite character on the show. Dialed in an A+++ performance. Nailed the character. Well deserved. Congratulations!

Well no streaming service has won a major Emmy in its first year, now Apple TV + has.
Well none of the major streaming services were eligible for Emmy consideration in their first year so that might have had an effect on the results. ;) :D
Both Apple and Disney+ won Emmy's in their first year. Apple won 1 Primetime Emmy and D+ won 5 Creative Emmy's for the Mandalorian. Now both services get to rightfully claim Emmy award winning shows. Both services deserve kudos for their wins... just like all the other winners.

Very deserving!

Absolutely, he is fantastic and so is most of the cast to be honest. This show is one that I actually look forward seeing more.

Next year: Ted lasso

I see that happening too.

Hopefully Apple will be able to produce better shows that can grab audience. All of these shows are very well made but lack "soul", some are not good or interesting at all. Apple has the cash and the platform now, they just need to put out there a good show that people would actually want to pay to watch.

Be realistic and be fair. In it's early days Netflix offered next to crap shows and much of what it offered at that time were movies that went into DVD and Blu ray 2 years before they ended up on Netflix. It literally took Netflix several years before it was worth paying a subscription for it. AppleTV+ enters the market and BOOM everyone expects instant successful shows, instant hits, instant gratification.
Same situation with Maps. Seems like people expect a magic potion when it comes to Apple but tend to forget every other competing platform took a long time to have success. Of course you didn't mention Netflix but I'm trying to bring a reality point here.

Fair points even though I think you went a little overboard with my words. Yes, it is a competitive market, but at the same time it is:
1) Well matured,
2) There is ton of evidence of what audience want to see,
3) People is now actually willing to subscribe to off-cable services and rely on it for TV/entertainment,
4) On top of that there is massive amount of cash on Apple's side plus a large, loyal costumer base owning over 1 billion devices to access the product (ATV+).

All of those were not struggles platforms like Netflix had to overcome. Yet Apple with so much going for them decided to make a show like See and waste millions of dollars, great technology and talented actors while disappointing million of fans that were expecting "the next Game of Thrones", as they called it.

(I knew that guy was going to dislike my comment, haha).

Step 1: Wear make-up and play dress up

Step 2: Win self-aggrandizing awards

Step 3: Repeat
Right?! An industry handing out awards for achievement within that industry! How dare they! Just because millions and millions of people consume this entertainment, they have the GALL to think people will care about an awards show!? The nerve!

Ted Lasso is the best show they have made so far. I absolutely LOVE this show.
LOVE Ted Lasso. Much better than i would have thought. Didn't hurt that the creator of Scrubs is on board.
I am a little curious... as a fan of the Premiere League, how entertaining is this show to people who don't follow soccer? 10% less? Any difference at all?

Have to say, Crudup was definitely the best part of this show. Or at least, gave the best performance. At times he seemed like he was acting in a totally different show. Which really helped his character.

Little America was good too. The episode with the cowboy hat guy was so great. Since it's more of an anthology, it skipped my mind but thanks for the reminder. For All Mankind was also great.
