Most of my movies show up in home sharing; however, there are a few that aren't. They're downloaded to my iMac --->not in the cloud... They're purchases from iTunes -->not converted. So why doesn't my Apple TV like "Finding Nemo"? What's it got against fish & sea turtles?

More than likely, Nemo was pulled from the cloud due to other distribution rights with other providers - HBO or such. It probably will be back in a month or two.

OP specifically said that his movie was local, not on icloud. pulled from the cloud or not is irrelevant.

@aimeewoo have you tried restarting your Apple TV just in case? (doesn't matter if iTunes is open or not on your mac)

What type of Apple TV do you have? (gen 1/2/3?) Maybe you're trying to stream content that is not compatible (i.e 1080p on a non-1080p capable ATV)

Haha. Sorry OP. Didn't see the NOT.
