Just a heads up do not upgrade to Lion if you use the AppleTV with XBMC SMB no longer works.

Why not mention it's only a Lion issue in the thread title?

    Damn,

Keep me posted please with this! I was going to use a air disk and itunes library stored on it and a Apple TV2 with XBMC to stream music. I was also however, planning on upgrading to lion too.

Will this be a problem if I plug my external hard drive I to my time capsule and point the XBMC to the time capsule? It is not interacting with my MacBook so I think this set up should still work. Thoughts?

This is a strange thread. It's now apparently become a catchall for anything XBMC related.
