Apple tvOS 11 GM stuck 'waiting for server'

Anyone else getting 'waiting for server' to download the GM?

It's been like this for over an hour already.

I can download the img from Apple developers site so I may do it that way.

Im fairly certain you will have to restore to the .ipsw image they provide as GM... which means its a fresh install..

Mine was doing same but tried again and now it’s downloading.

I just canceled the update by clicking on the check for update and cancel then rechecked and now it’s installing.
