Apple UK BTO returns

Does anyone know whether UK Apple stores accept returns for built to order Macbooks or would I have to arrange to ship it to them?

From past experience you have to call them and they will organize a UPS pickup.
You cannot return it at the apple store as they are two separate things. Not sure how that makes sens but that's what they told me when i was in the same situation as yours.

I ordered from the website and it was as simple as clicking return next to the order on the website.

I was contacted within a day by TNT and they collected it two days later, refund in my bank account about 5 days after that.

They only collect between 1pm and 5pm which is a bit inconvenient but at least it's free.

As above. For tax reasons the online store and walk ins are two seprate companies.
