Yeah, the base storage was doubled - at the same price point - compared to the old model, but somehow that's not enough for some...

I'm happy with my base 128 GB mini 7, and I don't think I'm (much) over 30 GB after loading everything I wanted - initially - yesterday. Still some space to fill, and I do have a (shared) 2TB iCloud account to fall back on.

Apple today announced a significant upgrade to the iPad mini, now featuring an A17 Pro chip and support for the company's new Apple Intelligence system. The refreshed seventh-generation tablet maintains its compact 8.3-inch design while offering notable performance improvements and new capabilities.

With that, October Apple Event that was planned is cancelled officially.
