Skeuomorphism isn't a dirty word. In fact, there's still areas (I'm covered by a NDA so I can't go too into depth) where Apple encourages it, when appropriate.

I can't update today, rebooted both IPad and Iphone. Think the app store is already bombing out =( this sucks!! I WANT MY UPDATES!! Anyone else having trouble hitting update? Only get Update again?

Yes. It would seem that the app store is dead busy already.

Wow, the Airport Utility update is pretty big. They've basically exposed every single setting possible, including NAT, DHCP, and even IPv6, which has been missing on the latest OS X versions. This is night and day compared to the previous stripped down incarnations.

All these settings have been available for some while on iOS I think

The App store application on my phone and iPad both give me a list of applications to update -- a bunch of them have new updates today.

But, when I try to update one (or all), I get: Cannot connect to iTunes Store.

Same here, hopefully it's because the update is imminent =)

Just got a terms of service update for itunes on iphone. After accepting my apps started updating again.

What time will iOS 7 come out? I want to at least start the download before I have to leave for the day. I'm guessing it's going to be another one of those 800mb downloads.

I just had to accept a new iTunes Store Terms & Conditions in iTunes before it would let me update a couple of apps. I'm sure there's no need to read the updated terms...

Looks like a number of sites (e.g. here and here) are guessing it will be 10 am Pacific Time, which is 1 pm Eastern and 6 pm UK. That's apparently the time when iOS 6 was released.

Actually, configuration for all these settings were updated in the previous update. This update seems to have only updated the icon.

For the Apple Store app to not accept Apple gift cards is completely retarded.

Have you guys tried suggesting it to Apple through the Apple website? They have facilities to take suggestions.

I managed to download the Airport Utility update but the icon is unchanged - still has that glossy 3d effect. Anyone else? I'm guessing it just downloaded an older version for some reason.

Me too. 3GS, iOS 6 here. Did I get the old version because my phone won't get iOS 7? Would be interesting to understand. Icon hasn't changed either.
