Im sorry, but you dont deserve to use an iphone if you need a user guide to learn how to operate the device

So what is Apple trying to tell us, since they provide a 150+ page manual? ;)

Apps in the multitask bar don't use any RAM at all. They are saved in a paused state (unless you are running background music or other processss) there is no need to worry about such things.

They use RAM if they're just suspended like most apps are. That's so they can instantly restart.

The RAM is only taken back by the OS if a more recent app needs it.

My grandma started using an iPad and didn't have a problem either. I have no idea how someone could consider ios as difficult to use...

Everyone says this, but I guarantee you that's because you were there to show her the little secrets of using the iPad.

I mailed my rather intelligent mother an iPad last year, and it was confusing as all-get-out to her, because no one was there to explain it. Everything rom the wiggling icons on the homescreen, to not knowing which unlabeled tiny icon to click on to create a new email.

Believe me, there's nothing worse that icons with no text, to people who've never had a computer before.
