I'm curious to see how it works at Apple now. I wonder if they have a kind of open-hierarchy like Valve, and someone did just wake up one morning wanting to improve an old app?I wonder how these updates for forgotten apps happen: "I'm bored, guess I'll see how I can improve this old app" whereas "Pro" apps for "Pro devices" like Numbers for the iPad Pro can't do things like Pivot Tables.
What do you mean? Remote apps for for devices. iTunes Remote for Mac (and maybe Windows?) and Apple TV Remote for Apple TV. I don't think they'll ever make a way to control the Music app on one iOS device from another.
But... Why? Why wouldn't you just bring that iOS device with you? It's much more mobile than a Mac or Apple TV.The Tango Remote App can control your Apple Music on iOS devices. I use it all the time and it's super easy to use.
Hmmm but doesn't the Sonos app have access to the Spotify and Pandora catalogs? If so, then Remote should model off that.Again this is just a remote app go to the Apple Music app and add there![]()
agreed, and the option to control Radio
and for those who say just use the Music app on your phone, the main advantage with iTunes on Mac is the ability to airplay to multiple airplay speakers. This allows for whole home audio control. Now if only apple would make a more affordable airplay receiver. A refurbished airport express is $50 which isnt too bad but would love something with a smaller footprint and closer to the $20 price point
Still 5 computers. Though I am seeing it say 10 devices (including computers). And how many iTunes devices-authentications are we allowed in 2017?
