It’s still there for me.UH-OH -- what happened to the "Section" tab under the "Document" tab? I used this on all my documents to remove the page number from the first page of a document -- why did Apple remove this? It made things so much easier

Oh it IS there... it's just not in the Documents Tab... but in the Format one. If you have no element selected on the page! That does not exist after today's update
You have to click OUTSIDE of the text area... (you can show the layout... to make the borders visible).

Essentially it now behaves like Keynote has always done. If nothing is selected... it shows you the basic options for the page.
As a heavy Keynote and Numbers user... I just did it without thinking.OK thank you - How did you figure that out?

Tbh I hadn't even noticed that it had moved... and I wouldn't have had you not written about it.
I have to agree... it now IS somewhat hidden.Well, I appreciate it - I think I only would have discovered that by accident
I checked my System Preferences for the App Store and I had Automatic Updates clicked but my most recent Pages version was 8.2 so, apparently it has not been auto-updating for quite some time if it is now on 10.0
just press command + R to reloadI have a real issue with Mac App Store updates appearing since Mojave. I have to open the Update page and then hit CMD-R over & over until they appear.
System Update in Preferences has the same problem.
They jumped from 8.2 to 10.
Yes, see...Software Updates and click the advanced tab. I assume Apple just rolls these things out over time to prevent server overload. Often it takes a day or so for everyone to be informed and updated. Is there a setting in System Preferences that will automatically update Pages/Numbers/Keynote?
If I did not read this website I would have had no idea there was an update available
Your suggestion worked perfectly for me! Went into the App Store on my MacBook Pro > searched for each individual app > clicked on each one > saw the update button. Seems circuitous but oh well...thanks!
Apple's website and App Store says version 8.2, but the About dialogue says version 10.0?
You've always had to do this. App Store only checks for updates once a week (changeable in Terminal).Hitting CMD R brought up the apps to update.. wonder why I have to do this now.
So what are the maximum numbers of rows and columns in Numbers now? Previous versions had so few Numbers was next to useless.
Just sayin
I don't trust the cloud
APPLE servers have been hacked before and famous nude photos have been taken by hackers and shared on the internet.
I don't use iWork but I wonder if the features ripped out (“redesign”) a few years ago, maybe in 2013, eventually came back.
