Following the debut of the new iPhone 17 models, the iPhone Air, updated Apple Watch models, and the AirPods Pro 3, Apple updated trade-in values for older devices and assigned a value to the iPhone 16 models that people may be replacing.

Apple is now offering up to $710 for the iPad Pro, $435 for the iPad Air, $190 for the iPad, and $190 for the iPad mini. Ypou can get up to $875 for the MacBook Pro, $550 for the MacBook Air, $490 for the iMac, and $2,520 for the Mac Pro, with a full list of prices available on Apple's trade-in website.

Android users can get up to $405 when trading in a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, with lower amounts available for other Samsung and Pixel devices.

iPhone trade-ins can be initiated when purchasing a new iPhone model from Apple's website, or at an Apple Store.

should I trade-in my iphone 13 pro or sell it ? also, if there's a small mark on it, is it considered damaged and worth only 80 instead of 250 ?

btw it seems the only option is to mail it, but i'd prefer to do it on-site, isn't it possible ?

my 13PM pre-event was valued at $360 vs the $370 mentioned in the article.

My Ultra 2 pre-event was $370 and now it is $335

I seem to recall during the event the guy saying a much higher value for iPhone trade-in than the mentioned $700?? maybe that was for a carrier deal?

I guess Apple doesn't plan to take trade in's for their 16e customers. I wonder why? If it's because it has only been out for around 6 1/2 months then I guess we could presume that all future (e) models will not be allowed to be traded in at the launch of the next iPhone line.

Probably because it’s the newest “e” model currently and they don’t have one to replace it. The iPhone 16 and 16 pro models didn’t have trade in values until today when their new counterparts were announced.

It’ll probably get a trade in value once the new “e” model is released.

Oh how I wish Apple did Samsung kind of Preorder and Trade-In deals.

Imagine 1k for trade in, free storage upgrade, free case and X % off on buying additional items like AirPods 3.

Never gonna happen but I've can dream haha

Good to know. Besides the convenience, no reason to trade in with Apple. Can get much better prices elsewhere.

Selling it yourself is almost always the better option, especially if you live in a decent sized city.
