should I trade-in my iphone 13 pro or sell it ? also, if there's a small mark on it, is it considered damaged and worth only 80 instead of 250 ?

btw it seems the only option is to mail it, but i'd prefer to do it on-site, isn't it possible ?
If you’re looking to make more than Apple would offer then yes selling is probably your best option unfortunately that kinda kills any “on site in person” possibility

Also yes you could do it in person on site at an Apple Store or your cell carriers store but you run several risks including the possibility of getting a lower valuation, getting outright rejection, and faster trade remorse if you change your mind 🤷‍♀️

I would think apple would take in a 16e if they are taking the se models. This might be a huge error. If not, that is really bizarre.
I would assume error. That or this is
Apples way of saying the 16e
Was really a dice roll and not worth a damn to them beyond research purposes and a few quick bucks 🤷‍♀️

i traded in a iPhone 15 Pro last week for Apple credit of $480. Today it’s worth $420.

Congrats you made our courtesy of

my 13PM pre-event was valued at $360 vs the $370 mentioned in the article.

My Ultra 2 pre-event was $370 and now it is $335

I seem to recall during the event the guy saying a much higher value for iPhone trade-in than the mentioned $700?? maybe that was for a carrier deal?

MOST LIKELY A Carrier deal
Or offering 👌

Carriers will likely give more than Apple if you're due for an upgrade. My wife's 15 Pro is due for an upgrade this year on T-Mobile but she didn't wanna go through with it since she's happy with her phone.

Depends on the carrier
The 15 Pro / Pro Max
Heck ever 12P / 13P / 14P
Are still decent devices if you’ve
Got them in decent shape and working order

They don't want a 16e?

Apparently not

I guess Apple doesn't plan to take trade in's for their 16e customers. I wonder why? If it's because it has only been out for around 6 1/2 months then I guess we could presume that all future (e) models will not be allowed to be traded in at the launch of the next iPhone line.

There’s a few possibilities here🤷‍♀️

Probably because it’s the newest “e” model currently and they don’t have one to replace it. The iPhone 16 and 16 pro models didn’t have trade in values until today when their new counterparts were announced.

It’ll probably get a trade in value once the new “e” model is released.

They also likely aren’t expecting
Many 16e owners
To be ready to trade in this soon
Much less to a more expensive and more high end model
🤷‍♀️

Why did I get notified for this even tho I'm not quoted

Not a single clue.
Either the site is glitching
Or something is up with your settings or you somehow got subscribed to ALL Notifications on the thread? 🤷‍♀️

Also it does appear some of my quotes are also not displaying properly so I’m again going to assume site issues
🤔
