Bold: Shouldn't that be OS X 10.11.

I think me meant the OS post OS X. Ie the future. Hence the bold.

I'm sure most people that visit this site are Apple enthusiasts and just about everybody can easily tell that's the shape of an TV and an easy giveaway there will be some type of TV announcement coming up.

I never assume people are Apple enthusiasts or know basic Apple things. There's quite a few people here new to Apple. But I agree with you that it's a huge Apple TV (and possibly home kit) hint.

Brand new territory is always a scary thing particularly with Apple, cos u just know they'll never get it right first go.

So, don't expect the TV content they launch to be any good :)

My only problem with an Apple TV service is that I won't be able to understand the Chinese dub-in. :D

I see the Apple TV at the centre, the other squares on their side round the outside as other Apple TVs. The circles round the outside are other Apple devices. And the concentric circles in the middle are wi-fi fields overlapping each other.

I hope I'm not too late with this.

Well they have confirmed force touch is coming to the iPhone. Read the description for session 231

And a new Apple TV with the description of 501

I'm interested to see how force touch gets implemented. It sounds like they'll be pushing it to all of their devices soon. It's one of those things where unless developers actually adopt it, it's pretty useless. but if they do adopt it en masse, it could lead to really cool functionality.

Is that what you told the shrink ;)

Here is how I hope this WWDC keynote will carry out:

1. Typical talk about sale numbers and other numbers.
2. OS X
3. iOS/Dev talk
4. Watch OS
5. Surprise us with "one more thing.." and show us a new Apple TV!

A man can dream.. :rolleyes::apple:

I'm really curious why Apple chose the words "The epicenter of change." It appears to be a reference to a monumental coming event, with the enormity of an earthquake. I can't see the new Apple TV ushering such an event. Maybe the next version of OSX will be called San Andreas...

Maybe its a throwback to "your digital hub" marketing, except this time its Homekit and iCloud

How about a sneak peek of OS 11 instead? That can be an epicenter of change!

OS X is effectively its own product now. I don't foresee the OS X name going away any time soon, even if Steve said OS X had Apple set for twenty years, which are now drawing to a close.

They might make huge fundamental changes to OS X over the years, but something tells me the NeXT-based Mac OS will remain OS X for the foreseeable future.
