Does anyone know if it is now possible to use the Apple USB Modem with the Airport Express? My work just purchased and Airport Express and I love it. I was hoping to get one for home, but we're still on dial-up.

Thanks,

ingenious.

If I read your post correctly, then, to the best of my knowledge, the answer is no - you can't use an Apple USB modem as a "provider" for the AP Express. FWIW, the AirPort Extreme has a built-in modem and would work better in a dial-up situation - wireless networking, just not broadband speed - but in-home inter-Mac exchanges would be fairly speedy..

Yes, thank you. I did realize that. I just loved the AP Express and really wanted one at home.
