If you think that ad catches your attention, then you my friends have never seen "Totally Awesome Computer's" ads. I remember when they first came out like ten years ago. Everybody knew about that and it was a great advertisement because when you saw it, you remembered it. So when you were looking for a PC, that guy screaming out of the tube was the first thing that comes to mind.

I can't find the original ads, but you get the point from this one. This guy is crazy in real life though. Showing a gun in public with his child in his lap, tsk tsk. And wanted to run for Governor!

Why isn't it recognized by the Apple Dictionary then?

In the apple thesaurus it says this;

USAGE NOTE
The use of fun as an adjective meaning ‘enjoyable,’ as in : we had a fun evening, is not fully accepted in standard English and should only be used in informal contexts. There are signs, however, that this situation is changing, given the recent appearance in American English of comparative and superlative forms funner and funnest, formed as if fun were a normal adjective. The adjectival forms funner and funnest have not 'arrived' in all the dictionaries, however, and if employed at all, they should be used sparingly and not in formal written English.

'Funnest' isn't a word I would normally use...but then again i tend to stick to simpler 4 letter words. :apple:
