In the most recent keynote, most of the people who spoke about the products were the marketing team. This is different to the past where the head of the team who actually worked on the product actually talked about the proiducts.

Are you ok with this change and what is your opinion on it?

I am ok with this change and I couldn't care less about it.

I think Tim Cook is a horrible presenter. Awful.

I think Apple keynotes are bizarre and cultlike.

I’d rather have the makers speak but let’s be honest here. The classic Jony Ive video got really repetitive and boring.

But so are the scripts. It’s always the “best [x] we’ve ever made”, “we have completely redesigned every element” all accompanied by audience members fainting in the aisles and being carried away in ambulances.

Seems like there were at least a couple of VPs of hardware engineering that presented.

There at the keynote as well, they may as do something instead of sitting in the audience.

It gives t a better 'touch' knowing an 'expert who worked on the design" can know what they are taking about..

Same with Retail. It's good to have someone who's in that position to explain, "Direct from the horses mouth" instead from exchanging idea, which could get lost along the way.

Some of the speakers at this last event were pretty awful. I miss Phil.

That's honestly my favorite part of these keynotes.

I may have watched my last Apple keynote (and only watched parts of this one). Whatever I got out of them in the past, really isn't there anymore. Now it's just like watching a 2 hour TV commercial, which is not a pleasant experience.
