Apple v. AT&T order - which is moving up fasyer

I have an existing plus 64 SG pre order with att&t scheduled from Oct 12-23. I thinking of canceling to check apple on a daily basis for an I store pickup OR just order through Apple.

Good idea? Is it valid to think apple keeps more inventory and even though my att order was on Sep 12 I will get an order placed today through Apple sooner.

Apple site says 7 to 10 days so it's not much of a difference. You can try checking store inventory at 10pm PT on the Apple site, that's when the store inventory is updated. That's what I plan on doing. Good luck.
