Hello,

Has anyone transferred their Verizon service from an old Apple Watch to a new Series 7? I am seeing conflicting information, and Verizon themselves have said different things based on different reps.

1) Are you charged an activation fee or upgrade fee when transferring the service over?
2) If I cancel the NumberShare line ahead of time, will I be eligible for that $100 rebate that Apple is providing?

Thanks.

FYI if you don’t keep the watch service for 12 months, they will take the rebate back by charging your monthly bill $100.

Has anyone had any luck getting VZ to waive the $35 activation fee for the Watch?

I was charged the $35 “activation“ fee. But—I’m trading in my OLD Series 2 SS 44mm Watch for $200! Of course, that $200 is applied over the course of 2 years. Still, it lowers my purchase price by 25% (Of the Series 7 SS 45mm). And…I have a series 4 SS 44MM Watch in great condition which I can sell, maybe for $150 or so. I’m not greedy, I just want to get rid of it. I don’t need old watches accumulating. I still have a Series 1 (or maybe ‘0’) in perfect but supremely SLOW condition. ? That Series 0-1 Watch can only be recycled (that was Apple’s trade-in offer!).
