Apple today announced that Vision Pro demo appointments at Apple Stores in the U.S. on Monday and later can be reserved on Apple.com.

To reserve a free Vision Pro demo online, go to this page on Apple's website and follow the steps to book an appointment at your local Apple Store. It is also possible to make a reservation through the latest version of the Apple Store app. Apple will ask you a few questions to get started, including whether you wear prescription eyeglasses or contacts, in order to prepare ZEISS optical inserts for your demo if necessary.

In the meantime, Vision Pro demos are available from today through Sunday at all Apple Stores in the U.S. on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no way to reserve a demo on these days, so you simply need to show up and wait.

"Be one of the first to get a demo of Apple Vision Pro," reads a new banner added to Apple's website today. "We invite you to sign up for a demo at your local Apple Store. Demo times are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For demos on February 5 or later, you can also book an appointment online."

Vision Pro demos will take up to 30 minutes each, including setup time. During the demo, you will learn how to navigate the visionOS operating system, and explore built-in apps such as Apple TV, Photos, and Safari.

Wait so do I need to be the first one to show up today? I woke up early to try to book a demo.
The demo is available to book online. Go to your Apple store app, scroll down to reserve a shopping sessionn at the store near by, it will bring up a shop with a specialist and give you the demo option.

When I went to it there wasn't an option for this weekend at any of my 3 stores. The only option it gave me was Monday.

Update: I went to one of my stores and there were not very many people at all. I canceled my Monday appointment and got on the list for today. Doing my demo in about 10 minutes.

Ok, I thought they all started today, and was really excited to try it out, so I got to reserve for Monday?

Called a store at The Easton Towncenter in Columbus, and I can tell you they are impressed with the amount of people showing up in lines. Apparently all times Friday through Sunday are booked solid and they have people just waiting to demo the product or see it. The guy I called said “it’s just like the phones” - been at apple for 29 years he said and “he hasn’t seen anything like this.”

The guy I spoke with is as surprised as I am about the amount of people expressing interest for the product. He suggests they just want to demo the product but from my opinion it sounds like a great lunch day for Apple.

I give high praises to the Marketing Team at Apple for being able to create such a buzz around an expensive product of whose practical use is still being developed.

It’s awesome!

Most people who are doing demos are still Apple loyal fans. The average public doesn’t even know about this product. I have several friends and inner circle people who aren’t tech centric and haven’t even heard of this product. I’ll be honest Apple stores are already a nightmare to get into. This will only exaggerate my hesitation to go in store. Just my 2 cents.

Is it weird that while I'm a huge apple fan for decades, I don't have any interest in trying this device? Is it because I'm old and weary of the headaches and neck pain it may cause? Never mind.

I'm that guy who gets nauseous on tons of roller coasters, so yeah that's my main curiosity too.

I know it weighs like a brick, but I feel like... in 3-5 years, when this thing weighs half as much and costs half as much, could be very cool.

I don't think it is weird at all.

Like you I have been using Apple products for decades, but this AVP just doesn't light my fire.

That doesn't mean it isn't / won't be any good… just not for everyone. 🙂

Me too actually, I don't even wear my AirPods Pro in night when I am alone watching movie and all, as I always wanted to hear sound around me, and having VP on my face watching media, It will make me totally unaware of my surrounding, I don't know if I will like VP, but I go ahead and ordered it and Picking up tomorrow, give it a try to see how 10 days goes, if I wanted good not too much bothersome, I will keep, If not, pack and return.
