All models appear to still be in stock. Given limited quantities are available, makes me wonder how successful this product will be (at least for gen 1).
looking forward to all the hands on reviews from actual users, can't wait to get this in the UK
Best pre-order experience ever. Actually started right on time, and no server crashes. I got 256GB and an 8a pickup time

Interesting... it let me use mine but I had pre-loaded them to my Apple account balance first.
Got the 256GB, shipping times started to slip real quick. I was fiddling with pick up in store and looking at the times available for pickup. Didn’t have any time that worked with my schedule and I backed out to change to ship, delivery time had already changed to 02/06. I’m crying inside.

Wow I’m mad. Had one in my cart for 8am pickup and Apple Pay failed on me literally ten times. Tried different cards. I’ve used the app and Apple Pay a million times before with no issues. Saw my pickup time slowly creep into the late afternoon, before my order finally went through. Feb 6th in the email though it showed feb 2 on the app. Bizarre.
Got one for me and one for my wife! Both 1TB. I always regret trying to save a few bucks and then dealing with storage problems.
I did preload them also, where did you select the gift card option? or did you have around 4000 in gift cards loaded?
Yes if you weren't in within the first ~10 mins. I went with the 512GB, and I'm still not sure why I'm buying this. Couldn't bring myself to spend the $500 on Applecare nor the $200 on the case. Good grief.
$2k is the max preloaded into your account allowable by Apple, which is what I had in my account for this already.
Yep, as I feared—optical inserts support “most” prescriptions means no Vision Pro for me or anyone else with prism in their glasses, which also includes my SO.
Oh well.
I really wish they’d have just SAID that earlier, would have saved me getting up at 5am only to close the app disappointed. They knew it before and unlike specs or full pricing it wouldn’t have taken anything away from launch to just say what they actually meant by “most”, which is “Zeiss optical inserts do not support prescriptions with prism”.
Gotta admit, my prism correction is small enough I’m tempted to get an eye check to see how hard I have to work to keep things in focus without it—probably could put up with it for the amount of time I’ll be using the thing.

This is too risky for scalpers. Who’s going to stock pile a $3500 item and hope to sell it to someone for a profit lol
Oh ffs - for nearly 4k they couldn’t include a case?
