I am presently a windows user interested in moving to a macbook pro in the near future. I am an avid photoshop user and intend to use this program on my mac. In view of the recent problems between Adobe and Apple regarding flash, is there any possibility of retaliation on the part of Adobe to limit the use of their programs on OS X. This may be a needless concern, but before committing to a different platform I would like the advice of those more knowledgeable. Thanks

Not a chance in hell. Adobe has acknowledged that their Mac application make up almost half their revenue.

Apple non-use of Flash isn't new. The iPhone debuted in June 2007.

Apple (or Steve) doesn't like Flash because it has sucked since it was released! Other Adobe apps work perfectly but Apple doesn't want Flash to "kill" the iPhone and iPad while Adobe would like to make Flash for them.

Flash is dead soon, HTML5 is on its way. Apple knows it and is a heavy supporter of it and Adobe knows that they have to improve the Flash too.

It's only because of Flash, nothing else
