Currently using the Apple wallet with Apple leather case. I love it, but like to switch it up with different cases. Is anyone using the Apple wallet with a 3rd party case, and how is it working and can you post a pic? Thanks.

Nomad with MagSafe. The magnets are not quite as strong as those in Apple's cases. It's not working for me because of how uncomfortable the bottom cutouts are so I initiated a return.

They scratch so easily, i imagine it would have to be perfect to get a refund?

Huh... I guess that would explain why they ask for a photo in the process of setting up the return.
A fingernail will mark them lol, they would want to be able to re sell them hence the photo, if it's scratched they wouldn't take it back unless faulty.
But then they are all faulty cause of the buttons haha. Perfect excuse to return.

Makes perfect sense for a smaller company. Apple can afford to let people be picky (to an extent).

this is the Vaja Grip Case with the Apple wallet. The Vaja case uses magnets comparable if not identical to Apple’s. The only weak link is the Apple wallet doesn’t have great magnets. But if you’re happy with the wallet with the Apple case, this will be the same experience.

Whoa…….that looks really nice. Is this case MagSafe compatible? Are you saying the Apple wallet doesn’t attach strongly? On the Apple leather case it is a very secure fit.

the Vaja case is a MagSafe case. the magnet is the exact same strength as far as I can tell as an Apple leather or silicone case. Vaja did a great job. A lot of people complain about the strength of the magnets on the Apple wallet. I think it’s fine but have seen reviewers complain that it falls off when inserting in their pocket or when taking it out. Bottom line though, I can’t tell any difference between the Apple leather case and the Vaja Grip as far as the magnet goes.
