Wonder if this was the root cause of my SSD being corrupted and requiring a complete format and recovery from backup after "up"grading from Catalina to Monterey a couple of months ago. Most definitely haven't moved back to Monterey since.

At the time it worked until the Time Machine backup ran and destroyed the SSD data partition.

It makes me wonder how this went past BETA TESTING??? Much less ALPHA TESTING???

Maybe Apple needs some more diversity in their testers...

And if you are installing betas, your data should be backed up so when something like this inevitably happens, it’s not actually an issue.

Installing betas on a primary device is a terrible idea. They should only be installed on test devices.

So i just downloaded and installed all the betas, I currently have an m1 MacBook air maxed out 16gigs of ram and I have an iPad Pro 12.9 2020, it works, but the mouse is lagging after I switch to the iPad with my mouse, I tried using my iPad Pro's magic keyboard trackpad to switch to my MacBook air M1 and it lags about the same, it's pretty annoying like if you move too fast it'll skip. I'm using a logitech mx master 2 connected to Bluetooth on my MacBook air, btw. Anybody else experiencing this terrible lag?
