hi guys

can anyone explain to me the use of a complimentary phone service? its under the one year limited warranty for only a few months.
what exactly is that? does it mean you will be able to call the 1800 hotline and ask questions for the period of time only? and you will not be able to do so after that period of time?

thanks!

The 90 day part of the warranty.. Is the within those 90 days they won't charge you for the call.. Then it's like $29.95 per call.. Std warranty..

Just to clarify that further, its actually only ONE phone call within the first 90 days. It's not clearly stated, unless you read the fine print, but that's the way apple rolls in order to get you to buy applecare.

so after that 90 days if i will to make the call they will charge me?
but why cant i bring down to my local service centre to check the prob instead?
if its software problem, the service centre will not care right? cos apple only cover hardware prob i heard.

You can do that as well. Not everyone has an Apple Store by them though.
