Apple was smart to wait for launch until after Halloween!

Probably not the reason for the launch date, however, it would be interesting to see how many people fail to open their X versus an 8 because of the Face ID versus using Touch ID on Halloween. There likely would have been a lot of negative articles written about Face ID because of a one day holiday!
