Does anyone else with this old model have this happen? Both my wife and I have model 2s. A couple of months ago at the same time they both kept rebooting whenever on the charging pucks. They still do it but other than that they keep working and fully charging. Only annoying thing is the ping when rebooting so leave them off the pucks at night. I guess the strange thing is they both started doing it at the same time. They are on whatever the last update was.

I have a series 2 that charges normally on the charging puck. It's on whatever the latest update was for the model.

I also have the same problem with 2watches both series 2 I’ve took them to Apple to be told they can’t find anything wrong with them.

Weird isn’t it? I still think it happened after an iOS update.

It’s is strange that Apple said there’s nothing that could be done to fix them they wanted me to buy 2 new watches

Of course they did. But I see no reason to. They still charge. Do everything we want out of an Apple Watch. Sure the latest one is a bit bigger a bit brighter but not much else. Same notifications. Same alarms. Same guidance. Until ours completely stop working we’re sticking with them.

As someone who upgraded from a series 2 to a series 6 (when that came out), the difference was like night and day. Don't kid yourself.
