Is anyone here on Dev Beta 4 seeing issues with third party app notifications not coming through on your Apple Watch post install? Particularly if you are not running WatchOS 2.2 beta? Over on the iOS 9 group, the Dev Beta 4 wiki thread, a number of users are reporting this issue.

Yes, my iPhone is giving the alert and nothing from my :apple:Watch. Was going to restart both but looks like a beta 4 problem.

And to make this clear for me you do need a developer account for the watch beta right?

Only the UDID of the iPhone the watch is paired with needs to be registered. My watch UDID has never been registered and has worked fine since the 2.0 betas.
It is probably the same as iPhone or iPad- where updating to a beta is fine, but if u restore without having the UDID registered, you will hit problems when activating. Since the watch cannot be restored by "us", in theory u just keep updating. In saying that though, I updated to betas on the watch and then unpaired it, then restored from a backup and it worked fine.

What's the OS of your iPhone and your watch

I did that this morning and it worked fine too

Hard to imagine no one at apple is walking around with 2.1 on their watch and didn't pick this up.

Per the iOS beta thread, unpairing and re-pairing your watch should fix the issue with third party notifications.

I've tried unpairing and re-pairing and it didn't work. It was the first thing I tried.

Also having issues. When I get a message notification it comes a minute after first appearing on my phone.

Running iOS 9.3 Beta 4 and Watch OS 2.1. Third party notifications are working, and I haven't done anything special like re-pairing. I skipped Beta 3, but that's unlikely to have affected anything.

Ditto. Public beta 4 of iOS 9.3 and using watchos 2.1

iOS calendar, reminder, imessage and phone call notifications work (although now duplicate buzzing and appearing on iphone as well as watch.)

3rd party like gmail appear and buzz on phone only.

Have done ordered reboots on both, haven't bothered re-pairing watch yet, I will await a fix in next beta.

Chiming in to say that I am also experiencing this issue on beta 4. My watch is running the most current non-beta software.

I've tried rebooting both several times, but I suppose I'll just wait for a fix in the next beta .

Same here. I'm on 2.1. And the duplicate notifications is extremely annoying. Ah well, this is beta software, I'll live with it. So re-pairing doesn't work?

Reporting same issue here. iOS 9.3 beta 4 with Watch OS 2.1. Only notifications I'm getting are iMessages - none from 3rd party apps like Outlook.

Would update to 2.2 beta if I could find one, but also kinda surprised this made it passed QA somehow... Quite a showstopper of a bug!

Same issue here. Let's face it - the Apple Watch has never worked right since day one. It's sometimes big things, and sometimes small things. Either way, it's a bummer.

It's an old line but...."It's a beta!!"
2.2 beta 4 and 9.3 beta 4 are working perfectly for me. All notifications, no duplicates. Not sure what is going on with you that you just want to diss the watch. Either don't use ANY betas, or except and don't winge.
