Hi
I bought a month ago apple watch 6 44mm aluminum gps + cellular and i already got some scratches on the screen and some on the glass of the back band relaese button. Is there anyway to make it disappear because it is a new watch and it is sucks. I heard about polywatch but i afraid of it. What can i do? Thank you.

Hi,

so here is my rationale about the watches:
decide which model (steel and saphire vs aluminium and ionX)
decide if you want protection (case, skin, screen protector)
live with our decision.

So, the damage is done - some find that relieving, maybe you could embrace that too. In the end it is a tool, an instrument you're wearing every day.

Or you try to get it fixed, maybe others could suggest and then you protect it.

good luck!

Screen scratches unfortunately are common on ionX glass. Not sure how you got scratches on the back that’s sapphire glass and ceramic.

the short answer, not much you can do at this point other than accepting the fact and move on ...
if you can feel the scratches on the glass with your fingernails, they are indeed most likely scratches, otherwise they might just be in the oleophobic coating which will eventually were off ... scratches in the casing, nothing you can do about it, other than being more careful if it bothers you. I don't understand your "some on the glass of the back band relaese button" - the buttons are not glass, the back glass is actually sapphire and is really hard to scratch

Now i i bought a screen protector but what about the back?
Did you heard of polywatch or something make it polish or something?

Edit: for someone that wondered how i got scratches in the back when i used that tool for release the band easier because sometimes it really hard.
I know that it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do..

ouch, that is not good ... might have to take it into Apple to inspect as scratches might impact the sensors ...

So you used a steel screwdriver on aluminum and it scratched, learn from this. At least it’s only on a part of the watch you don’t see. I’m sure the under side of your car has scratches too, but you don’t worry about those.
