How about the Apple usb-c cable with the watch charger at the end, that Apple has been selling for the last 1-2 years? Shouldn't that be the same as the one supplied with the new Series 7?

Apple no longer sells the regular USB-C watch charging cable. The online store only stocks the fast charging option that also comes with the watch.

Wonder if Belkin will have a new 3/1 Magsafe charger? I feel that their charger was the best in the last year and can’t believe that Apple can not make fast charging work with that charger or their own travel dual magsafe charger. Yeah Apple, you are real environmental friendly. Complete joke when they bring that up every presentation.

Now that I am resuming international travel, I do need to watch these details. In the last few days I flew RT USA-Rome and my watch battery barely made it until I got to my hotel/home. I must pay attention on the upcoming trip to ATH and I can't imagine what happens when I return to HKG and do a couple of runs to ICN.

I always keep a small belkin portable AW charger in my bag when travelling

After I watch a movie I want to sleep on 8+ hours so I worry about theft when not on my wrist surrounded by strangers.

Easy solution ….. boost it while you are awake :) that’s what I do ……
Well, I am usually eating during that movie and real estate is minimal. Also at start of flight am monitoring messages about my destination

I was simply trying to make a helpful suggestion….. You seem to be putting hurdles in the way ….., if it doesn’t work for you that’s fine ….. just do what you normally do. ;)

My best shot is a lounge when connecting at ATL, but that was not necessary on previous trips.

Does anyone know if using AW6️ charger will hurt the series 7 battery? I know it won’t fast charge, but wondered if it would be bad for it.

I’m still using this. I hope Apple comes out with something similar.
