I’m still using this. I hope Apple comes out with something similar.

Me too. And I have to use it, because I need more than a 1m cable.

Well, I am usually eating during that movie and real estate is minimal. Also at start of flight am monitoring messages about my destination

You should be able to put the Watch in the seat pocket. If not, and you're so worried about theft, then just slide the charger between your wrist and watch when you sleep.

[Edit] Might not be enough for longer international trips, but do you put your Watch in airplane mode when flying? That helps a lot.

Ok I have a question I believe I know the answer but want to double check. There is no harm using an older non fast charge charger correct? I have the older Apple stand one that I have been using since Gen 1. If someone can humor me and confirm that would be great.

To be honest i doubt i use the cable that comes with series 7. I will just take the MagSafe duo with me in my bag when i need it.

That’s too bad. Expected. But still too bad for those who invested in the Duo.
Completely agree. I also have a Duo and am bummed.

Apple just published this:

”Fast charging requires an Apple USB-C Magnetic Fast Charging Cable.”

I'm glad the duo charger doesn't fastcharge tbh... I wish i could make it charge my phone slower too.
I only ever charge and night and would rather charge more "gently".

How about the Apple usb-c cable with the watch charger at the end, that Apple has been selling for the last 1-2 years? Shouldn't that be the same as the one supplied with the new Series 7?

Oh no, that's not the Apple way. Get ready to replace your year-old USB-C Apple Watch charging cable if you want fast charging.

What about the Belkin Boost Charger 3 in 1? Is there a real confirmation that it will not work with the Series 7 fast Charge? Because it uses a 40 Watt adapter. In theory that is more than enough…

I asked Belkin using Twitter and they said they didn’t know yet.
