I hope everyone is enjoying their new watches!

Yesterday, I earned all of my "circles" in the Activity app - yeay! This morning, I went to the gym and did 43 minutes of various cardio; however, my green circle, the Exercise circle, is only showing 24/30 minutes. Does anyone know why my green circle wouldn't be complete? I mean - 43 minutes - I was sweating! I want the circle!

Did you use the workout app when you went to the gym?

I'm a 3rd of the way around my exercise band but the closest thing I've done to exercise is playing FIFA on xBox lol

Yes. I clicked on the green circle with the black running man icon on the watch face. Then, it listed the different workout options to choose from: Indoor Cycle, Rower, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Run, etc.

The first "workout" I chose was "Rower". I selected 12 minutes, and completed six minutes or 43% complete. This is the only "workout" that does not have a full circle under the list of "Workouts" for today. I completed all of the other "workouts" for the goals I set.

The goal for this first "Rower" workout was 12 minutes, and I only did six, so I guess those six minutes could be the ones missing from the 24/30 Exercise circle. But, I did a total of 43 minutes, so I would think that would give me the whole green Exercise circle.

Now that I write this out, I am wondering if those six minutes I didn't do on my first workout on the rower are what is missing.

Be patient, use it for a few days and you'll learn the nuances of how it works.

Haha...patience...I'm working on that... :)

Who cares what you do to earn the ring, right?!

Sound like you set the goal for only 30 minutes?

I think the "Exercise" and "Stand" goals are preset/standard. I think the "Move" goal was set based on my input regarding my existing daily activity - light activity. I have to read more to figure out how the "Exercise" time goal is set, since that is the circle that is in question.

I just looked at the Activity app on my phone again. Now, the green Exercise circle is FULL!! It states 30/30 minutes. It also matches the circle on my phone. That first rowing workout is still only at 43%, which I would expect. So, there was a delay (at least two hours) in the reporting of the completion of the Exercise circle.

I'm not exercising again until tomorrow, and I'm going to see what happens then.

Thanks everyone for your input!

Do you know how to change the daily activity setting? I accidentally sent my activity for light when i wanted to do moderate but I'm not sure how to change it.

Apple Watch - Activity/Exercise

I did a 5k distance run this morning and noticed that my watch showed the full exercise duration immediately but it took quite awhile for it to show up in the Activity app on the iPhone. Could be a bug I guess.

Open activity app then force touch on the metric you want to alter.

The app on the phone lags behind the app on the watch, so check the watch for your current stats.
