Thanks

Mine is working with outdoor run. Maybe try an in-pair and re-pair.

Any chance your HR is turned off for workouts?

Try a restart. Hold the crown and friends button at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Unlock and try a workout. I get this sometimes too. I also don't get a pace when running at times or distance but 95% of the time all is well. A restart is quick and easy and might do it. Also, during your workout slide over to the heart rate and see if you're getting a reading on the workout metrics.

Hi

Thanks did not work so did un-pair and re-pair and will see how that goes

I am having the same problem. Did a outdoor walk last saturday and it showed my avg heart rate. Did a outdoor cycle last tuesday and it did not show the avg heart rate and finally did a 5k outdoor run today and it also did not show the avg heart rate. Restarted both the phone and watch and tried a indoor walk but still no avg heart rate :(

unpairing and re-pairing fixed the problem. I have set it up as new but Unfortunately you will also lose any calibration you have done. So you will have to recalibrate your outdoor walks and outdoor run.

edit : and there we go again. got to work by bike so i started a outdoor cycle workout. I've checked it during the ride. It did measure my heart rate once at least but at the end no avg heart rate again

Hi

Un- pair and re-pair seems to have sorted it

Thanks winmecd

i've tried a few fits and if the fit is even a little bit loose the outdoor workouts will have problems with registering the heart rate. Even snug fit sometimes fails. Indoor workouts don't seem to be so picky.

My AW looses the HR no matter how hard or loose it is worn. One minute it will read 130-135 and the next minute it will show 60bpm, while on a run. Sometimes the HR is just plain blank. Apple needs to work on this!

I use another device for my runs and it can be so loose it slips past my wrist bone onto my hand and never misses a beat. The sensor is far superior to Apple's sensor in my opinion.

UPDATE: just got back from my semi daily run and I must be getting in really good shape as I normally see a HR of 140 and today I ran my usual run and I only show 69 for my average HR! Fitness pays!

Mine stopped showing anything on iphone activity app when I swapped out one iphone 6s plus for another ( silver to rose gold). I have rebooted everything, repaied, wiped my phone and reinstalled. Had apple tech phone support do a forced reinstall of iphone. Reset up watch as new, reset up watch from back up. Nothing has worked. Tomorrow I may swap one watch for another ( in two week window) since it maybe somehow a new watch might fix it. Open to ideas.

Hi

Anybody found a solution to this problem or is it a trip to Apple Store

Thanks

i gave up. Today i worn it during a 25 min run and registered my HR a couple of times but at the end of the run NO AVERAGE HR :(
