Apple Watch Air Power charging case.

Is the required Air Power wireless charging case going to be made available to purchase separately, rather than new Airpods being required.
Either way, I'm going to continue with Anker QI for I Phone.
Hope Apple don't set cost £200 u.k. pounds, even £149 for a wireless charging mat could be considered extortionate.
 
My crystal ball tells me that they'd not offer the wireless case separately. I sense some slight redesign where the old AirPods won't fit in these new cases too...

There is no reason that they would offer the battery case separately, the AirPods would be included, which is why when they release version 2 of the AirPods, it will be as a whole unit. And it only makes sense, as the Airpower will be launched side-by-side the second GEN version of the AirPods, which they can re-introduce the Airpower charging features/capabilities, and how the Apple Watch would charge as well.

For what it’s worth, AirPower has been delayed so much that nobody really cares about it anymore.
 
I would want to think the new wireless charging case would be available for the mat but knowing apple and the delays I reckon they'll make it a s2 airpod only charging mat

I prefer to allow time to read proper Apple News
The wireless case is also sold separately for $79and is compatible with the original AirPods.
Only joking believe me I don't often guess correctly!
Though if the case becomes available in u.k., I'll purchase it anyway in addition to Anker iphonexs wireless charger.
Maybe I'll avoid full cost of Apples' Airpower multi device charging mat.

I agree, the title and first few posts don't help. When Air Power was announced it featured the Apple Watch S3 charging and IIRC this can be charge don other chargers than the Apple chargers (?).. The title sounds like you are expecting a case for the Apple Watch so you can charge it on the Air Power station...

...and if it's all about the AirPods then it's really in the wrong section.. with a misleading title.

Agreed no harm intended.
Meanwhile I consider limited options on purchasing the wireless case+11" i pad smart keyboard.
Those keyboards must be flying off u.k. shelves, in stock for a few days out of stock a faw more days or weeks
