Hi, I read that CarPlay uses your iPhone. While it's being used I wonder if the Apple Watch and/or the CarPlay can handle both at the same time?
Hmmm, that would be a bummer if we can't use both at the same time, eh?

I see no reason to suspect a compatibility issue between the Apple Watch and CarPlay. Does the keyboard on your computer stop working when you start using the mouse? Same concept - different Bluetooth peripherals accessing the same iPhone.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the Bluetooth. But, wouldn't there possibly be conflicts with Apple Watch running the same App as being ran by CarPlay at the same time? Maybe the watch can't use the Map if the CarPlay is using it? They are both using the same iPhone..

Apple Watch and CarPlay

I have CarPlay and a Pebble Watch and never have problems with both running at the same time. I'd be surprised if the Apple Watch had an issue.

I see what you're saying, the iPhone SHOULD know what to do with info from both. As I understand it, CarPlay and WatchOS both essentially use the iPhone as a module in an MVC software design. I assume that if an app can run on both the phone and the watch or the phone and CarPlay, that it will do fine with all three. If not, it's going to be a developer issue, not an Apple issue.
