Apple Watch and Firing a weapon?

I went shooting yesterday without even thinking about it affecting the watch until I saw this thread. I shot multiple mags from my m4, sks, Glock 22 and my 9 shield and even received a phone call on the watch while firing. phone was in the truck about 15 feet away.
Everything with the watch worked perfect and as it should and had no problems with a 2 minute phone convo on the watch between shots.

The only real moving parts are he speaker and the taptic engine. Don't know about the taptic engine, but the speakers are truly small and don't have a lot of mass to get moving during recoil. Not sure about the PCB though. Quality solder job should minimize the possibility of the components breaking off or some other damage. Honestly I was/am more worried about the water resistance than the shock resistance.

Well, I've shot my 454, 44mag, 357, Thompson center contender with 223 and 410 barrels, m92 ak pistol, xds 45, and a few others with 42mm sg watch on and haven't had any issues with it as of yet...

I went shooting with a friend of mine who has a 38 Sport. We shot 22LR, 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .45 ACP, .44 Magnum, .223 and .308 Winchester yep, it was a long day without even thinking about the effects on his watch. Everything was just fine and her watch works perfectly.
Of course we carefully washed our hands and her watch after that session because of all the gunpowder and lead.
And don't forget to secure and lay down your gun before answering your call on your watch

It was fine when I went clay shooting. None of this silly handgun business over here
Silly Handgun? a shotgun has many bb's, try keeping a 2" group at 100yds with a 357 that has a 6" barrel, and for power my 454 will punch through an engine block
but I also have 2- 12ga and 3 - 20ga shotguns, but I usually only use them and some of my wheel guns for hunting
