Last year I bought the iPhone 6 instead of the Plus because it was easier to handle. This year, by using the Apple Watch, do you think that the Plus might have more sense since it should stay longer time in the pocket?

Maybe, but then again it may not easily fit in your pocket. Only YOU can decide what works best for YOU.

Are you suggesting that having an iPhone 6 Plus would result in you leaving it in your pocket longer? If anything I would spend more time on looking at the Plus than a 6 with the smaller screen. I have a AW but mostly because it's Apple and not so much for functionality. Can't see it being any more useful with the Plus.

Except I see many people hand-carry their Plus because it's too large to fit comfortably in a pocket, particularly when sitting down. Maybe if you're a woman with a purse?

Or a dude with a "European shoulder bag."

I have an iPhone 6+ and it fits perfectly in my back jeans pocket. The bendy phone thing is nonsense. That being said, I'm careful about sitting on it!

I must admit it's something I've thought about, but I think the plus size is still a bit big for me when using it as a phone. I may change my mind though as the extra screen size really appeals to me :)

I have the 6+ and it fits fine in front or back pockets but of course it is big. After 10 months or so, it doesn't even feel big to me and I find the other phones too small. Granted, I am 6'4 so that may be a reason. The Apple Watch has saved me from using the phone for all the daily tasks I do or don't do because my phone isn't with me or I am too lazy to use.

Unless you wear tight or skinny jeans you should have no issues. It's not that big. The real consideration is one handed use. For smaller hands it's a challenge. I have big hands and only have an issue with reaching the top left. (Right handed)

How tall are you? I'm about 5 foot, and even the 6 barely fits in my pants pocket (front). I have to take it out when I sit down because it's uncomfortable. I think the 6+ might not fit at all, or the top might stick out of my pocket.

I'm 5'10"

I have the plus and it doesn't fit in my pockets well when I sit so I hold it or put it in my purse or jacket pocket. I'm 5'5.

Is this across all brands of clothing or do you primarily wear a specific brand? I am 5'7, have the 6+ and wear tailored slim dress pants or jeans solely from express. I have not had a single "doesn't fit" event ever.

Are you a man? Perhaps men's clothing have larger pockets? Also, perhaps clothing styles differ country from country? And of course, different brands could have different sized pockets, as you suggest.

Well yes I am a man ;-) and furthermore I believe your assertion about pocket sizes is correct. Below is a picture of me just fishing, all manly like.

Doesn't matter what brand for me. The phone will either slip out my pocket or be very uncomfortable, sticking out, when I'm sitting. Don't like putting it in my back pockets because I don't want it to bend, or fall out .

Standing and walking around its ok, depending on the depth of my pockets.

At any rate , I love my 6 plus!!

I'm in same situ. Have a ,6 and now a watch. Last year didn't want the 6+ as too big. Now unsure.

Would love the bigger screen, but every time I go past an Apple shop I pop in and hold and think it's too big.

Really unsure what to do..... Have to decide what to do soon suppose with announcement any day

I have a plus and to be honest, it being in the pocket is the issue, i.e., its too large and when you move around things can get contained. I have to remove the phone from my pocket when getting into my car. I do this nearly out of habit at this point but I'm not happy with it.

So in relation to the watch, I don't think getting a plus will mean its better for watch usage or anything.

Exactly the issue I'm thinking it will be. I'll have to remove when sitting down, in/out of car, don't think would fit in jeans so I'd have to carry etc.

Someone I know has a phone, can't remember make but know it's dimensions are nigh on same as plus, and he carrys his in shirt pocket.

I don't think having a watch is going to help, it helps in whatever iPhone you have for notifications anyway
