Hi, new to the forum and I am sure the question have been asked before, apologuize for that.

The question: I've been looking for an app where I can see my speed on a map, including the heartrate at a spesific time on my run. I've has this function on cheap Polar watches, and is the main reason why I bought the Apple watch (which is really bothering me now).

Are there restrictions? It's the only function I want from this piece of sh...
Without it its utterly useless, who wants to see the average HR?

No.. I want to see my HR at the top of the hill to compare my runs.

Please, if you have any applications for this application give me a heads up!

Thanks in advance.

I feel your pain because I have been looking for apps also and it seems like developers are not so gung ho to update their apps to take advantage of the gps, the implementation of GPS on the apple watch 2 so far has not been so significant (so far). Samsung Gear s3 is so far ahead at this point.

I mean.. If you're a serious athlete and want to use Apple's products, you really can't, because the information you get is so extremly small compared to what could have been.
It's strange to see that I can't find this question around in forums?
Obviously I require more from this "training" device than most, Even tho this is a really simple function to add.

F... your graphs and noncence, give me HR at a spesific time.

if you have a hole in your pocket, check out the new Garmin fenix 4 but at a hefty price.

Runkeeper, Runtastic and Strava (and probably others) offer that functionality.
However, I found all of them to be buggy and unreliable and I've stopped using my AW in favour of a Forerunner 235 as it's far more reliable for use as a running companion

If you are a serious athlete then you need to supplement your :apple:Watch with a REAL running watch. I use a Garmin 620 as my 'official' cardio recording watch and my :apple:Watch as my (what it does best) general overall fitness/health recorder.

Runmeter can do this. Infinitely customizable in all sorts of ways. Watch app is a bit buggy, though.
not fully. they have yet to utilize the GPS capabilities of the watch. Currently you have to have your phone with you when you run/ride and some people may want to leave their phones at home. Hopefully an update is coming...
