Hello Macrumors community!

Having trouble with native apple watch apps downloading to my watch. They hang on the "installing" action on my watch app layout screen. The apps will process the download normally then get stuck about three fourths of the way through the install. Tapping on the app from the watch layout screen does not launch the app, I receive an kick back response as if its not downloaded yet. I have let the apps download and process normally though even after several hours I get the same "not downloaded yet" response. In the watch app on my iPhone X the app layout screen displays the troublesome apps as white app circles as if they haven't been downloaded yet.

Note: All third party apps work normally and install without issues, the problem resides with apple apps.
(Apple music app, Home Kit App, Maps App)

Here is a play by play of my troubleshooting steps:

I have the latest stainless steel black 42mm LTE Series 3 watch

-Two finger restarted the watch
-Force restarted my iPhone X (button combo restart)
-WatchOs 4.2 updated
-iOS 11.2.1 updated
-Closed out all apps on watch and phone
-Allowed the watch and phone to charge during app install
-Made sure that "automatic app install" is enabled
-Re downloaded the apps multiple times, same outcome
-I cannot delete the app from my watch or app layout screen from the watch app hence it thinks its not downloaded yet
-Also the main "my watch" page in the watch app has an white square icon for the music app

Note: I have not unpaired or paired the watch yet since I'm trying an least invasive to most invasive troubleshooting approach for now.
