Hi All:

I have an Apple Watch Series 3 operating under Watch OS 4.0.1 and an iPhone 8 operating under iOS 11.0.3.

I have 4 credit cards in my iPhone wallet with the same 4 cards available on the Watch. While I select the credit card that want to use to make a payment on the Watch, the charges ultimately are applied to my default credit card. I also noticed this same behavior with an Watch Series 0 (Watch OS 4.0) paired with the same iPhone. Apple Pay from the iPhone selects the correct card.

Anyone else know of this problem? How do I solve?

Hi All,

Did the following:

- Remove all cards from Watch and iPhone
- Reset/Unpair Watch from Watch App on iPhone
- Reset/Restore Watch at Watch
- Re-pair Watch to iPhone
- Add credit cards to iPhone.
- Add credit cards to Watch.

By performing the above, I now am able to select credit card from the Watch and have that be the card that is charged.

Did find one bug Watch OS 4.0.1 and iOS 11.0.3. Even though the wallet on watch is set up "Mirror My iPhone", the default credit card on the Watch/Watch App on iPhone are different from the default credit card in the wallet of the iPhone.

Hope this helps other that might encounter this problem.

May have happened, but I’ve not noticed this issue. I have 3 credit cards.
“Mirror my iPhone” is for alerts, not setup.

Hi All,

Happened again. With an update to iOS 11.1.1, my Series 3 LTE Apple Watch operating under Watch OS 4.0.1 is again, regardless of which card I select to make payments, making charges to the default card.

Apple's only solution is the delete the cards, restore the Watch to original factory conditions, re-pair the Watch, and re-enter the credit cards.

Has anyone else experienced this? If yes, did you come up with a solution?

Why not try to update your watch and see what happens?
