I still have my first gen iPhone that I use every day as an iPod touch, essentially. Now I wish I'd kept it sealed in a box!

The keyword there is "rare" iPhone. I don't think people are keeping a spare apple watch sealed in its box, in the hopes to sell it for a premium in 20 years.

Funny, I have two because the potential return is so high. If they don't go anywhere it's no big deal.

I wish I had gotten a bunch of iPhone 1s back in the day, but back then $650 was a lot of money. I had a 4gb one, which still seemed really excessive at the time. Oh well.

If you are prepared to keep one in excellent condition for years and years, yeah you might double you money. Original iPod, or iPhone in pristine condition can make you some money, but that is years..... down the line.\

My guess the Space Black SS might be the most rare, due to price, but given it can scratch, you are going to have keep it locked up.

The edition, price is too high for it to ever become a collectable in my opinion. Not even collectors will pay RRP for those.
