I was wondering how AutoSleep is on the Apple Watch with tracking sleep. Is it accurate? Does it pick up awake time even though you aren’t awake?

I have been using for awhile (probably a year or so). It is reasonably accurate, plus it has the ability to adjust it if you believe it is too lenient or strict in its interpretation of your sleep. For me, I think if was too lenient so I adjusted it. But, my Activity Rings will show that I stood for three or four hours while I was sleeping. Wife says I don't sleep wake, but am very restless when sleeping.

Does it pick up steps also?

I love it. As mentioned you can adjust based on how restless of a sleeper you are. I sleep very soundly so I've adjusted it to be more sensitive to my movements. I also like how movement from your iPhone can (optionally) indicate you are awake. So if you lay in bed on your phone for a while before/after sleep it won't accidentally track that as sleep.

Does it track anything weird like steps or standing?

I mean not any more/less than any other app would (as that's just built in to AW). I'm sure it's dependent on how restless you are. I don't think I have have any steps counted (and if I do it'd be a miniscule amount like 10), but I do occasionally get some stand credit while sleeping. depends on movement, sleeping postion, and even where the watch is worn (sometimes I wear it as an armband). But that doesn't really bother me, because the stand goal is always the easiest to achieve anyway.

Love AutoSleep and I have used/paid for several. If I wake and use the bathroom it shows me awake at that time. If I wake and check the time, it doesn’t usually catch that “wake”.

You definitely need to adjust to your sleep -
From very restless to basically dead with no movement. I love the heart rate tracking just as much as sleep. I recently dropped 15-20 pounds trying to get back to my college weight with more cardio instead of just weights. I could see my resting heart rate drop by about 8-10 bpm on average in the 6 months it took.

My only complaint is when you wake to use the bathroom. It picks up that I did but it usually says it takes me about 20 minutes to get back to sleep when it is usually just a few minutes. This seems fairly consistent.
