Apple Watch bands on next gen

Is everyone 100% that Apple will announce the next Watch in March? I think it's pretty fast to switch already after 1 year for a first-gen product. It was like October when the Watch was released in Belgium due the poor stock and maybe other elements.

Nobody can be 100% unless they're an Apple Insider. I know one thing, if it doesn't come out in March, some people will be devastated. I'd LOVE to see that

I'm pretty sure Apple will not piss us all off and make the AW1 bands incompatible with AW2. I am wishing (but not holding my breathe) that Apple sells the AW2 with a standalone option (no band) so I can save money buying the next watch. However it seems highly likely Apple will never do that.
