Hi,

I’ve had my Apple Watch for a day now and I’m loving it. I’ve played around with the different features and one thing I’m a bit confused with is using it via cellular.

I can receive/send texts, make/receive phone calls and check weather via cellular. However, I cannot send or receive emails using the official mail app. This is also the case for when I use Microsoft Outlook - the app does not even load.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe this is by design, but would love for others to chime in as well.

I know Canary has an LTE enabled watch app for email, Outlook definitely does not work.

I thought I’d seen someone said it worked with native mail but can’t confirm.
