Apple watch cellular question

My parents recently bought me back an Apple watch from America but didn't get me the cellular one. My question is can i add cellular to a non cellular watch or do i need to buy a whole new watch that already has cellular?

No you can’t. You would need to buy a new one.

You will need a whole new watch. Wifi only watch lacks proper hardware to support this function.
