After recently updating both my watch and iPhone, I started noticing color differences between the face gallery in the watch app and what's actually on the watch. The color faces appear much more saturated on my iPhone (XS) than how they actually appear on my Apple Watch (series 4). The face I use the most is California in navy blue. I looked through other faces and colors, and it's consistent. Is this a thing? Are colors not as saturated on the watch, or is something wrong with mine?

This is a really difficult scenario. Without screenshots or physically seeing your Apple Watch to compare in person, there’s no real way anyone can give you background information on this. Your best option, when Apple stores reopen in your region, would to have them specifically inspect it. Also, you could compare side-by-side to see if there’s any differentiation as well.

I've held my phone right next to the watch on my wrist to compare them. There's definitely a difference. I don't use true tone and had night shift turned off when I was comparing. Unfortunately, I don't have another camera at the moment I can use to take a picture of them together.

Take a screenshot of the watch and then a screenshot of the phone and post them.
